EXPERIENCE
Mr. Farland has recently joined Merrill Associates, Inc. in 2007 as a Project Manager. His prior experience includes supervision, design and permitting of numerous residential, industrial and commercial projects throughout Massachusetts. Mr. Farland's specific areas of experience include, site assessment and evaluations, local, state and federal permitting and preparation of Notice of Intents and regulatory permitting in compliance with the Massachusetts Wetland Protection Act. His design work includes stormwater management, site layout, sewer and utility designs and on-site sewage disposal design. Other experience includes hydro-geologic analysis for groundwater mounding, construction and conservation compliance inspections, NPDES Permitting and preparation of stormwater pollution prevention plans, contractual services and professional civil engineering representation.

Mr. Farland's other prior experience includes hands on and supervision responsibilities in the construction field in which Mr. Farland was employed by one of the largest construction companies in Massachusetts. His experience involved residential, industrial and commercial site work, installation of water, sewer, drainage and telecommunication utilities, construction staking and as-built surveys and supervision of crews.
